Becca Fink- Owner/ LMT
I attended the Oregon School of Massage and became licensed in 2005. Just after graduation I set my sights on offering great massage that was both effective and affordable. And that, my friends, is how Palaquin was born.
Since then, Palaquin has grown in ways I never would have imagined! I strive to create a place of healing and renewal each day, for every client. I am blessed to go to work everyday to a place that I love and see so many wonderful clients!
I want everyone who comes to Palaquin or who has the opportunity to experience a Palaquin Massage at your workplace, to know that YOU are our priority! We want you to have the best massage experience each and every time!
Trina McDaniel- LMT
Trina graduated from East West College of the Healing Arts here in Portland, Oregon in 2007. She has been a Licensed Massage Therapist since March 2008.
"While I was studying massage, I worked as a Certified Chiropractic Assistant. This experience was invaluable. I provided massage for patients before their adjustments, which helped them relax and their adjustments go more smoothly. Right after I got my license, I started working for Palaquin Massage. I derive a great amount of satisfaction from doing chair massage in the workplace, because I know what it's like to sit at a desk for most of the day. Just fifteen minutes away from desk and computer monitor, time to rest your eyes and let us massage those painful shoulder, neck, forearm, and other muscles makes a huge difference!
My massage room is a judgment-free zone. I have worked with clients of all ages, sizes, sexualities, genders (yes, there are more than just two!), and political persuasions. My focus is on helping you relax, and any stresses or anxieties you experience in your daily life can safely be left at the door."
Tracy Rugloski- LMT
Tracy attended the Oregon School of Massage in Portland. She has been licensed for one year.
“Making people feel better through massage is what I love to do. If I'm not giving massage, then I'm with my wonderful husband of 10 years and
our two awesome children. Our daughter is 10 and our son is 7. Life is good!”
Emily Horowitz, LMT- Specialized in Geriatric Massage
Emily is a graduate of The Oregon School of Massage. She has been licensed as a massage therapist since 2005, and is certified, additionally, in Oncology Massage and as a practitioner of Compassionate Touch, a modality geared towards those in later- and end-of-life stages. She has always been interested in massage for the benefits it provides beyond the physical, gravitating towards populations traditionally overlooked by most massage outreach, and especially to people who face emotional challenges such as those inherent in the process of aging. She believes that caring, informed touch is as nourishing as food for elders and others in nursing home settings who receive little or no significant touch through the course of each day. “I love touching people, making that contact, and helping them to feel good—even peaceful--inside bodies that are ailing.”
